The muleña pottery is eminently utilitarian, hence the workshops of this trade are better known as “ollerías” than as pottery, making reference to the type of production to which they are most commonly linked.
In Mula, four generations of potters endorse the Boluda Pottery as a continuation of the tradition in the mud. Casseroles, lebrillos, fountains, jars or plates, next to the traditional recipients modeled with a lathe, constitute an extensive variety of pieces, to which are added those made to order and attending to the demand as lebrillos, jars and fountains decorated with different colors and reasons.
