Water Path

The Water Path crosses the five municipalities of the Sierra Espuña Tourist Association through the different stretches and branches that run parallel to the Canal del Taibilla, and when the route of the same complicates its continuation, it is resumed by other paths trying to make this present as a background theme the water.

SECTION IV: Fuente de la Portuguesa – Casas Nuevas

Description of itinerary: In its 14.8 kilometers are the Fuente de la Portuguesa; the Battle of the Canal del Taibilla; the Barranco de la Hoz, one of the deepest and most beautiful landscapes of Sierra Espuña, considered as a Priority Conservation Area; the House of the Muela; the Río Pliego and Mula Valley; the Rambla del Malvariche, which is born in the Prado Mayor and has an important vegetation, and new houses, where you can contemplate the shade of the Forest, one of the most unknown areas of Sierra Espuña.
