Baroque Market

In March, on the weekend closest to the festival of San José, Mula moved to Baroque with the Baroque Villa de Mula street market with the aim of putting in value and promoting the historical-artistic set of Mula both to visitors as well as the neighbors of Mula and thus contribute in the dynamization of the tourist, commercial and economic activity of the locality.

For three days, activities inspired by the 8th century of Villa de Mula are organized with the setting of their manor houses and coats of arms and whose axis revolves around the figure of the Marques de Los Vélez. Through scenography and guided tours we can see events that took place in the village in its Baroque era. All this is complemented by almost a hundred artisans from all over Spain who show us their artisan products made with artisan hands that use local products as raw material.

A few days before the official opening of the market, other cultural activities such as round tables and conferences are held in Mula where experts instruct us in everything related to the Marquesado de los Vélez.
