Holy Week

A large number of outstanding pieces of imagery, that during the rest of the year have rested in parishes and hermitages, walk the streets and squares of Mula in Holy Week. It is now time to decorate them and take them to the street on their thrones in search of the eyes of muleños, visitors and penitents. Wednesday, Thursday and Good Friday to the fall of the afternoon, Holy Thursday at dawn and on the morning of Resurrection Sunday, the sculptures of prominent followers of the school of Francisco Salzillo or new imaginaries sponsored by the patronage of recent brotherhoods José Sánchez Lozano or Ramón Cuenca respectively), are mixed with light, color and the mild temperature of early spring.
